So there I was, Happily catching a Dink sized Bass on my Favorite Lure, a Crank Bait. I get him to the boat, and I think, "Hmmmm, better be careful with this one. Hooks all over the area that I am going to lip him". I lip him, and one of the treble hooks, one in the same that is in his mouth, is lying on my right index finger. Shurer then shat, he struggles, sinking the other end of the hook into my finger. And DEEP. All the way to the throat of the hook. So, there I am. Rod in one hand, and a fish and my finger in the other. I manage to put the Rod down, unhook the fish, have a good look at the little Evil wretched, and release him. I then hurry over to my mooring, get to my Camp, tell the Wife I am off to the Hospital to get this damned Rapala DT4 out of my hand. Drive myself to the hospital, and 3 hours later, I am back in my truck. I had an errand to do , so I did it, but Lo and behold, it was in the area of Northern Bass Supply. So, I did what any other Self Repecting Bass Fisherman would have. I replaced the Rapala with a Lucky Craft Flat Mini DR (But that Bait is another Thread ;D ).

All in all, my first Dr. Removed Hook. It was so deep, I was thinking that it was surgery to get that thing out.

So, now that I have that off my chest, what Stupid Fishing Tricks have you pulled in your tenure as an Angler? :
