Split Shotting

What's the best size hook for nose hooking 6" roboworms? would a size 4 Gamakatsu Finesse Wide Gap Hook do the trick or should I use a different size?

I like using the Finesse Wide Gaps for wacky rigging.  It would work fine nose hooking, but I think the Gamakatsu Splitshot/Dropshot hook is a better choice.  Like I said, the Finesse would work, but I've used both and I like my hookups better with the Ss/Ds hook.

Another hook you can try is the #1 Gamakatsu EWG.  Randall showed me this hook and it really works well on the Split Shot in grass and wood.

Good luck dude and hope you find the right hook!

I like a #1 Gama. EWG and a Owner in the same size. good luck.(i love roboworms too)

thats for the quick replies guys. If anyone else has any more recommendations on hook sizes for Gamakatsu Splitshot/Dropshot hooks feel to put in your .02 cents.

I use a #1 Gamakatsu split shot/drop shot hook for nose hooking both 4" and 6" finesse worms.
