Beast and I hit Pond W this morning, aka Cheerleader Pond.  We talked about fishing this morning, I woke up late, didn't think about it till around 9, so we got a late start.

All in all not a bad morning.  Fished about 2.5 hours, I boated five and he none.   8-) ;D

About usual for the place.  Every fish I caught was fat fat fat.  All but one came on a wacky-rigged stickbait.

Hey Tom, where are the fish?

He's done the same thing to me up there a time or two. I guess I was just holding my mouth right.  ;)

It isn't orange, it's yellow.

Take that garbage chatter-crap off that carrot too. A rod so great doesn't deserve such a bait on it. >:(

Must be the gimmick rods. I'm suffering from "Beast Syndrome" myself.

I just picked up that same reel yesterday, and i am in LOVE!!!

Ahhh, the cheerleader ponds. I have witnessed the greatness of these ponds. Fish magnets!!

I spent the day on the Ohio River busting 13" spots on a Shad Rap. Lots of fun on light line.

Nah, I'm just a sexy boy...

Yep that PT burner on the Carrot is a pretty sweet rig.   I threw a rage shad most of the time jonesing for a topwater bite.  Only got one little strike on it.  Finally went to the wacky senko and missed a few.

Those trees look great from shore till you get out to them and they are on a hump and alot of the water around them is only about a foot deep.    The water was the clearest I have ever seen it had visibility to about 8 feet, did find a spot in the clarity that should hold the good'uns.
