Went up Sunday mornin for a few hours with Burley, found out later it was a ploy by my wife to get me out of the house for her to set up a surprise birthday party. Anyway we head out around 7:00 a little cool and expecting a good topwater bite. Get to the ponds making the turn to back the boat closer to the water gonna drive over some briars to get better lined up and all the sudden the truck stops with a nice crunch. There is a 4" tree trunk stuck in the brush and finds the grille of the fishin truck. Burley has the pics of how the fishing went and will let him give the story with those, but here are the pics of the eventfull morning before we even got out of the truck.

We call that a weight reduction around here. That should be good for 2-3 mpg better fuel economy. ;D ;D

Nope, gonna leave it gives some more character, this is my old beater truck.  Did order new headlights (which I needed anyway) for $75.
