jig bite's on

Featured Replies

this is one of my favorite times of year to fish.  mainly cause i have the lakes all to myself and it's prime time for my favorite bait - the jig.   went after lunch and fished 'til sunset.  not a great day, but not bad for 45 degree water, post-front bluebird skies, and 10-15 mph winds.  caught 8 little chunkers.  best 5 woulda probably gone 14 lbs.  all on my new favorite jig with a rootbeer/green glitter brush hog trailer.  if not for this bait, the day mighta been pretty bleak.  i couldn't get 'em to hit anything else.  all caught off deep wood.  i got one of these jigs for about a dollar on clearance at a local tackle store.  now i gotta find a way to get more (hopefully without paying full price :o).  the little wire trailer keeper is really great and this has got to be one of the most snagless jigs i've ever fished.   hope y'all are catchin' a few too. :)

Sounds like an awesome day! Terminator Jig's are my favorite flipping jigs by far. The bait holder is great, and they're really snagless. Great hooks and I really like the recessed line tie. The price isn't too bad, wish I could get them for a dollar though!

Sounds like a great december day!!

Too bad that jig cannot fit any braid over 50lb test :-/

Tough conditions are no match the "PAUL MAN."  Why don't you move down here to S.Florida and fish some tourny's with me?

that would be cool bro, but i have a feeling you'd be looking for a new partner soon.  i'm very average off my home lakes - and quite often on them. ;D

Good to see your still catching fish Paul.

Next year I think I'm hanging up a lot of my tournament fishing stuff and I'm going to be purchasing a swimbait setup. Thinking about fishing Gibson Co. trying to fish for the monsters there. If you're interested in trying that as well let me know bud. I could use your big fish experience  ;)

yes i'm definitely interested.  that would be great.   holler at me anytime and we'll go.  i've got some spots too. ;)  i'm still trying to get out and fish at least once a week.  thanks for asking. :)

Went to Gibson Co. lake early this past summer (1st time), really nice lake. Caught a 6lb on my spinning gear (PB for spinning)! Just about the most fun you can have (with your clothes on :o)...
