Berkley Power Bait Swimbaits

Featured Replies

Anybody ever used these and had luck? How do you fish um? There about 10 bucks a pack. Thanks :)

Pretty simple slow to medium retrieve. Fish them where you would a spinnerbait but most important thing is clearer water. At least 3 ft unless you are really shallow. Rigging is simple if its open water rig with the treble hook and if its not rig weedless. Use a long heavy rod like you would with any other big plastic bait. I have caught some 3lb class fish with them but I havent used them alot either. I prefer small hard swimbait with lots of trebles. For what its worth the weedless hook that comes with the bait stinks. Its sharp but your bait will last longer if you can get some big screw in type weedless hooks but they can be hard to find. Good luck

you can make ur own screw in hooks just use med/weak wire or buy trailer hicthes and put um on ur fav hooks i find they work best with straight shanked worm hooks EXPERIMENT
