First outing of the year

Featured Replies

Got out for almost 2 hours this afternoon/evening. I hit the one power plant on the Potomac for some smallie action. Luckily, my timing was on (they were actually pumping water)! LOL! I started out with a Rattlin Rogue jerkbait to see if they were active. On my first 5 casts, I managed a smallie on each cast! I thought that was a decent sign!  ;D I slowed things down for a while to see if any bigger ones were hanging out under the small ones with a tube but no takers. Ended up with 18 smallies total (nothing bigger than 12", hence no pics), 14 on the Rogue and 4 on a BPS XPS Static Shad.

Outstanding!  Glad to hear that you are catching fish everything is froze over up here.  So tell me are you going to be rooting for the black and gold at the superbowl?  Since your team did not make it I thought maybe you would root for mine. ;D

Matt

Nice to hear someone is out catching smallies.  I am still fishing through holes in the ice!

Sounds Awesome!!!
