The morning started out pretty cold... bout 33 degrees but soon warmed up to low 70's. My partner and I chose to run to Sliver Glen, A spring where we knew the water would be warmer and bed fished all day. We ended up placing 5th out of 57, and cut a nice litte check. Our bag ended up weighing 11.17lbs which ain't alot but that's all it took cause many had a tough time. Oh and 1st place was fishing right next to us! they had 20lbs!

Glad you did well. I had a tournament out of the same ramp on Saturday. We were the Deltona Small Boat Club. Our first place had about 16lbs with a 9.8lb kicker. We caught one short fish all day.

Thanks SMfisher, and CFFF 1.5 most of the guys who stayed on the main river had a tough time i heard. the springs where much warmer so they where beddin pretty good in there.

I'm not sure where the guy from our tournament caught his 9.8 lber but I know he didn't run to any of the springs unless he went to Deleon Springs. I will post a picture of the 9.8 lber when I get the picture off my camera.

Alger, were you guys able to run in the morning. We headed south and could barely idle it was so foggy that morning. We couldn't see 15 feet in front of us.

it was the same up north, i had my GPS to help warn me of turns and kept an eye out for idle boats.
