I heard about 2 different lures that sounded good. I googled and they look good, but maybe a gimmick. The first is made by Salmo and it is a hard jerkbait called the Skinner. The second is called the injured Minda. At the least, it has a different line tie area.

Does anyone have any experience with these? Thanx.

i haven't fished with either, but Salmo is a reputable company and makes quality products. you should be pretty well off with that Salmo Skinner.

as for the Minda, it looks pretty gimmicky to me. pretty good concept, but i'm not sure if i'd pay 20 dollars for one. i would make one myself before i bought one.

Looks like a modern Flatfish or Lazy Ike.

rboat, I bought the Skinner a couple of weeks ago. Unfortuneately, I can't use until next season with my boat in storage but first impressions it is a good looking bait. I had watched an FLW fishing tournament and one of the pro's was using it as a topwater twitch bait. I'll be sure to give you guys an update next spring 8-)
