I was in a Bass tournament yesterday and i found that the Bass were hanging out about 15 to 20 feet off the bank. I don't know if this will be true where ever you live, but that was the case on Lay Lake in Alabama. Hopefully this will be helpful to someone.

We have a small tournament every 3 weeks. We only had 5 boats show up and one of them was going solo. 3 boats back down on us. The boat i was in got 2nd place and big fish. It didn't take much to win. we ended up with 9.2 pounds and our big fish was 3.14. 1st place had 10.4 pounds. So far i'm heading in the right direction. last tournament i got 3rd place, this one i got 2nd place. I'm looking forward to getting 1st place next time.
