Wow!..What a day!

You know, there are those days that catchin' the big one gets laid to the side and you enjoy watching someone new to the sport have a day they won't forget!

I went down south of the Ky. line this morning with my gal and new BR member Nikki to visit with a fellow member, Paul.

We had a great time. The fish that were trying to bed didn't want to cooperate so Paul and I sit back and watch someone new to bassfishing fall in love with what it's all about.

Here's some great pic's:

And to top it off she caught Mr. Whiskers too! Should have seen me running to aid her for this one.

Nikki got her new PB today at 3lbs. 9oz.! I bet it don't stand long! :)

Thanks Paul, for a day that won't ever be forgotten. The most important thing to fishing is watching someone else glow with the memory!

man i had a blast chris.  i loved every second of it.  there is always something special about being around someone new to fishing.   it re-energizes ya and makes you remember all the reasons you love to fish.  nikki's enthusiasm and excitement is contagious.   i guarantee ya chris and i got just as much out of this trip as she did - even though the 2 of us PUT TOGETHER didn't catch half as many fish as she did.  :o

and yes, she already has the trash talking part down.   look out chris.  ;)

good times with good friends, that's what it's all about. :)

Man, how can someone not fall in love with bass fishing after catching fish like that?! Great fish and pictures.

Wow CJ and Nikki way to go!

Glad you and Nikki had a great time with Paul. Wish I had met him while he was at the lodge.  Maybe next year.

Man, that's a friggin' nice cat! My older brother came out with me and a buddy a few weeks ago and caught the biggest bass I've ever seen in my lake. He hadn't fished in at least 6-7 years and he goes out there with us and catches a solid 8 pounder! Always fun getting people on some fish, though!

Glad you and Nikki had a great time with Paul. Wish I had met him while he was at the lodge. Maybe next year.

Just wish I was still there with the rod in my hand.. :'(

Thanks again to Paul and CJ.. even though I did school you both(with your help that is)!
