So me and my dad went out again and i caught nothing, not even a bite. But my dad caught this nice 5.8 lb bass, it was 21in.

I wish my dad would have done this with me! He hates nature though. You are a very lucky guy bro! CONGRATS TO BOTH OF YOU!!!!  

    Yeah I had to teach myself to fish because my dad had never fished before in his life.  Also, I had nobody else to help me (except for you guys!!).

Not to get ot, but I started taken my Son out when he was 9, he's been at it ever since. IMHO, it's a Dad's job to introduce his kids to as many activities as possible, so kids can find something they 1..enjoy and 2 are somewhat good at to keep their intrest going.

BTW...Dad's will always out fish their kids, at least in my case..lol

Keep at it, he just got Lucky.. ;):)
