Do Snook taste good?

People kill for them.

I took a slot home last year and my wife and I hated it. My wife will not cook or eat fried food, next slot I get I'm gonna try it on the grille, I've heard it's good that way.

Yes I fish the Boynton inlet, nearly every day.(early morning)

Bad year to fish there, big pier is closed down for at least a year(redoing it) and the small pier is too crowded to fish, but I have a few other spots in the general area.

i live right down the road from there in Marina Village.  i've fished there once and yeah, it was crowded.  i'm not much of a saltwater kind of guy, but i do it every now and then.  i tried surf fishing near there too and got skunked.

Surf is not producing much so far this year, another couple of degrees of warmer water and there will be snook on the beach. There are times when every cast produces off the surf, best is last hour of the incoming tide.  Once I caught my first jack around 5# I pretty much gave up bass fishing.

If my mind serves me marina is on federal backing up to the icw, I have heard of people catching fish there. Snoo have been real slow this year I have only caught maybe 40 or so, biggest only about 18#, but it's starting to get better

Snook out of the intercoastal/inland waters, is a tad on the mushy/watery side. Snook from the ocean is fantastic.

good job my man....

   Do Snook taste good?

oooohhhhh ya they do........

i used to put the fillet in tin foil on the grill... with just a touch of everglades seasoning, and a light drizzle of italian dressing.....

not much better (fish at least) in my opinion.
