Not a great day, but rewarding.

This was only the second time I have fished this lake and the bass were still on the beds. I did catch a hell of a surprise though. I caught my first topwater fish of the year!! This smallmouth smashed a spook. Only fish of the day that was worth mentioning. Fished for about 5 hours. Water temp. 75 deg. F.
