Golf Course Pond

Fished favorite golf course pond on Monday and caught some beauties.

A total of 14, going from one pound up to 6-plus pounds.

They were put in the pond by a pro who caught them on the Potomac River and they are beautiful.

Had a super two hours before the meeting.

Only downside is that I had to leave my house in Richmond at 3 AM to make it to the pond for 5:30 AM, and there was traffic on I-95 heading to DC.

But it was worth every mile.

One day I will take pictures and figure out how to post them on this site.  :D

Without traffic it's what, and hour and a half's drive between Richmond and D.C.?

That and Atlanta are two places I hate to drive during rush hour.

But, for that kind of fishing I'd endure it too.

I'll bet you enjoyed the drive home, unless you spent the day on the pond and had to contend with the southbound traffic in the afternoon.

Rhino,

Left Bethesda around 10 AM so had no trouble returning to Richmond.

Worth every mile.  :)
