Spro BBZ Shad

Featured Replies

I'm curious for anyone that's given them a fair chance, how have you done so far? I have 1 of the fast sink Natural Shad, I threw it for about 10 minutes and definetely looked good in the water. Unfortuneately the fish in more area won't be able to give me their feedback until next spring. If you've used it would you buy more? Thanks.

We have been slaying fish in the slow sink sexy lavender shad now for the past 2 months, before they were reeased to general public.

this sounds like one of product reviews on basspro.com but i literally caught a fish (a keeper striper) on my first cast with the blue back herring, slow sink model. however, that's been my only fish so far. it got to be a little frustrating to fish because it sinks so slowly...too slow, in fact. i went out and bought the fast sink model but haven't had much confidence in throwing them anymore so the jury is still out.

I've had pretty good success when I've thrown them, but I haven't been able to get out on the water much lately.  I've fished the slow sink and fast sink, and from all the times I threw it, the fast sink seemed way more versatile to me.  The slow sink is basically a floater because it falls so darn slow.

When the Spring of 09' rolls around, your gonna see some big numbers being put up on the BBZ Shad.

I also haven't had much of a chance to fish this bait, but I have caught a couple of fish on this bait and I have some confidence on it. I have had lots of short strikes on this bait and I think if I can learn to let it fall when I feel the first hit, that those fish would come back and eat it. I have been fishing the Natrual Shad in Slow Sink, and I plan on getting the Blue Herring in Fast Sink and the Dirty Shad in Floating. I am in love with this bait and can see it catching some big fish for me this winter/spring.

I've caught fish up to 4 pounds on the floater. Great bait.

I have only fished it a few times but have caught several fish, nothing big but I would give it a positive review.
