first bass on Marty's custom jitterbugs

Featured Replies

finally got to try out the custom painted jitterbugs that Marty (BigM) painted for me. we had a good night caught a lot of redeyes and a lot of smaller bass. i did catch a few that was good sized. i didn't have my hog trough with me or a scale so i would only be guessing the length and weight. i was well pleased with the fish i caught on the custom painted one with scales (the one my wife said was hers). i also caught some nice ones on dark colored one with a red spot under the front hook.

the first fish was caught with the scales jitterbug, the next fish that showes only half of the fish was caught on the dark jitterbug. took a few more pictures of other fish but they didn't turn out, this was my first try at taking pictures at night hope to get better.

one of Mike's fish that he caught with one of my jitterbugs that Marty painted for me.

Great job, those are some healthy looking fish.

Nice looking fish,  I had fun painting the baits and I know you had fun catching fish with them.   Thanks for the pics.

thanks everyone, was fun catching them. one of the most enjoyable ways of fishing is to wade fish and use jitterbugs at night.
