  6. I have been searching for some local clubs. (around KCMO) but have found very few that are not in STL area. i did find one that seemed good but it only shows 15 members. since i have never looked at clubs before i was wondering if the size of the club is any indicator of the club itself.
  7. nice catch man. its always fun when your fishing.
  8. Great job. gonna show this one to a couple people i think should watch it and maybe learn something.
  9. yea yesterday morning was great ripping some topwaters along the bank. then we had 6 inches of rain in like 2 days so i had to move over toward the overflow and go a little bit deeper with a jig. not alot this morning though.
  10. well the lake is about 30 acres. the water temp this morning was a litler cooler than norm for this time of year since it poured rain last night. and was raining on and off the whole time i was out. fished for about 2 hours and pulled some nice ones out(for this lake anyway).biggest went almost 3 lbs. every single one was caught on a tiny torpedo while running it parallel to the banks most strikes where within 2 feet of the bank. Thanks for the tips guys
  11. hitting the local lake in the morning. 40 percent chance of rain with very low water clarity. little to no cover in the lake. i usually do pretty good hitting the shelfs but with it being so overcast and rainy i was wondering how that would affect them. i havent fished it much in this type of weather.
  12. well i'll go ahead and post up. im living about 45 min east of KC in Richmond. fish Truman ALOT and local ponds and lakes. too. anyone wana do some fishing or anyquestions let me know.
  13. nice work guys. and everyone that was featured...nice fish.
  14. I'm in the exact same boat as you. i have a daughter turning 4 and another girl due in Oct. my fishing time has falling faster than a crackheads credit score. but its working back in. even if you only get to hit your local spot for an hour or two. its still an hour or two of fishing my man.
  15. congrats on the new PB. cant wait to see it man.
  16. Thanks for all the welcomes guys. im hitting my first full year tournament next year. or at least i plan on making it the whole year. so i'll be on pretty regularly.

  18. i have both within an hour of me but surprisingly i dont go to either. I go to the local guy that has built himself up. Rogers Sporting Goods. only got the one store now but still cheaper and better service than both BPS and Cabelas sombined.
  19. congrats on th PB. gotta love bouncing those jigs on the bottom and feeling that line take off.
  20. That's what I was thinkin'. you guys beat me to it
  21. Id be willing to start a newbie pass if there are enough newbie interested.. although i wont be a newbie for long. lol
  22. congrats man. id like to know more about that scale too. looks nice.
  23. a good topwater day can be some of the most exciting fishing around. but i would def check that line or knot issue. even if it was from the bargain bin. i dont like to lose lures. especially ones that are catching fish. lol
