BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted July 11, 2009 BassResource.com Administrator Share Posted July 11, 2009 Well folks, here's my first attempt at being in front of the camera instead of behind it. Anyone who knows me well, knows that I ALWAYS have a spinnerbait on the deck of my boat, and I ALWAYS fish it at least for a little while on every outing. In this video, I give away all my secrets gained over the decades of heavy spinnerbait fishing. Whether you're a beginner, or have been fishing spinnerbaits for long time, you'll find some new tips to try the next time you hit the water. https://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-videos/spinnerbaits-bass-fishing.html Many thanks to Idaho***er for his fine camera work! Enjoy!
AndyPlaysDrums
Wow, thanks Glenn, that was great! I've been garnering a great interest in spinnerbaits recently, and that really cleared some things up for me. Well done!
Tucson
Great video, thanks for your efforts. I learned a lot about spinnerbaits even though I use them a lot. Particularly liked the info on skirts, blade choices and trailers. I'd like to find some spinnerbaits that don't have those humongous hooks that are so common. Sfritr
Very Nicely done!!! Showing footage of hooking into one at the end was a nice touch as well. If you're gonna be a movie star you'll have to hit the tanning bed though.. Great Job and very informative for a newcomer wanting spinnerbait tips. kms399
fantastic video well done! if only there was a video like this on jerkbaits, worms, crankbaits every lure type out there it would really help a lot of people. I don't really like spinnerbaits but now I feel like I need to go get some lumaflex skirts and give it another go. were you working with the bait monkey on this one? BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted July 12, 2009 Author BassResource.com Administrator Share Posted July 12, 2009 Just spinnerbaits. I like to let my jigs sit for awhile, and rubber skirts tend to slowly open while the jig sits still, while lumaflex skirts won't do that. The lumaflex works better for moving baits. But I guess they would work for swimming jigs. I haven't tried that yet. Hmmmm....you gave me an idea. Thanks for all the kind words everyone. I appreciate it. The mods and I have several more videos like this in the works, so stay tuned!

Elite Image Fishing
an excellent video certainly helped me abit. one thing ive never used is trailers for my spinnerbaits. any recommendations for brand, type, etc? I usually don't use trailers either, but when I do I go with the NETBAIT Paca Chunk or Tiny Paca. Thats a crawfish type trailer and I usually match it to the Davis X-Swim spinnerbait.
