New Video! Spinnerbaits

Featured Replies

Glenn, where can the dye you mentioned me purchased? Also I'm guessing you make your own skirts with the lumaflex material you buy... how many skirts does a 1/4lb roll make?

Very informative! Thanks :)

Great video, with lot of information for those who fish and tried to use them, and never could! Hope you do more videos on other things, like how to use bait-casting rod and reels. Also other information on other lures also.

Thanks

Dennis

From one spinnerbait lover to another, great video Glenn!  I actually picked up a couple of new ideas.  Number one, I don't use Lumaflex for my skirts so I'm going to give them a try, and number two, I don't usually change the blade color first when I have short strikes.  I'm amazed at the number of guys who were looking at your legs.  ;)

Great video Glenn!

While I don't use them exclusively, I do throw Lumaflex skirts from time to time. Thanks for bringing up the spinnerbait weight! 3/4oz is something I haven't thrown very often (actually not at all this year). I'll have to break them back out! But 14# test with a 3/4oz spinnerbait? I'll be going a little higher (bad experience in the past with lighter lines)!  ;)   You're right about the backhand roll cast, it is a little awkward at first. I started using it last year.

Very informative.  Good werk!

I hear the baitmonkey saying something about lumaflex...

BTW - the skirts are available in 2 packs too.  I had a few folks wondering if they can only get them in the 100 pack.  I buy them in bulk simply because they're hard to find and I go through a dozen or more a year.  But they're available in smaller quantities as well.

Well done, Glenn.

That skirt did resemble Phyllis Diller.LOL

Thanks Glenn.  I don't throw any spinnerbaits currently, but might give it a shot.

very good ;) I think someone has been watching KVD videos untill 2:00 in the morning ;D

Good vid Glenn, now I may actually have to use the spinnerbaits that I have.  ;D

Excellent work!  Definitely some new stuff to think about.   Been using spinnerbaits all my life but never bigger than 1/2 oz and rarely that.

I've been wondering if videos like this would ever surface.

Wow!  Excellent work Glenn!  Very, very helpful.  I'm a worm/tube/jig fisherman mostly and haven't given spinnerbaits the honest try that I should be.

Can't wait to see these other videos!

great info. Really appreciated the vid.

Mike

Many thanks for the video Glenn. I fish spinner baits on the majority of my outings and still picked up a thing or two.

Can't wait for more videos!!!

Great video Glenn!  I've just got into bass fishing over the last year or so and I've only caught one bass on a spinnerbait many because I didn't know anything about using them. This video has help A LOT!

Looking like Tina Turner LOL

Very nice video Glen

Thank you

Very nice video Glen

Thank you

Yea or Phyllis Diller ;D i had to pause the video for a second after that one.

Of all the great tips the one that stands out in my mind is the cast/entry.

Mastering the cast and getting your lure to slip into the water as quietly as possible takes some time but is well worth it.

this should be a sticky
