    Well I was doing quite well until I lost it……..? It was the medium bill, I think dives to 8ft or so. I caught a monster smallie on it the night before. Thank You Sir!

  9. St. Croix made in USA rods are a great choice!
  10. I dont know if it matters to you, but the Avid Neo is the same rod. The only difference is the Neo was made in the USA and the rage in Mexico.
  11. Just get the avid or avid x in the same length and power you want and you will have a better rod. It will resale better if you ever want to sell it as well.
  12. I have a Falcon bucoo and it is a great rod. I dont think you can go wrong with Falcon.

  14. You can thin the epoxy with rubbing alcohol if you desire a thinner coat. The thinner coat of epoxy will be just as durable and may not lump in the eyes so much.

  16. I agree! I would say Gander 12 lb is a sunline 10 ib line.
  17. I have been using the Gander labeled Flouro that Sunline makes for them and really like it! I dont know if it is sniper or shooter or what, but it is good line!
  18. If you really want to fling out light tackle , you need a good ultralight set up with a small diameter braided line for strength, you will need to use you your drag.
  19. For most rods of equal size and length, in general ..................YES! with some exceptions
  20. For me its been the 1-, plopper and a fatboy. And I noticed all 3 have been working for others. The baby one minus and fatboy are legendary , but I just this year picked up a plopper and I am amazed at the success I have had with it.
