Not very clear after I posted, I was talking about the hook eyes and line tie.

What is the trick to cleaning out the eyes on a crankbait after brushing on the epoxy? Am I putting on way too much? I waited for it to dry, but seemed like I was cutting into the paint which would allow water to enter. I'm sure there is a simple trick...

Ok, Thanks everyone. I was asking to try to find one that I could fish a little deeper that doesn't lose the vibrations when you slow down the reeling. I'll try some xcalibers and spots. So far, the RES seems the best I've used.

I mainly fish Strike King Red Eye Shad. I was curious if there is a lipless bait that has more vibration than the red eye shad ? Of the different baits I've tried, Red Eye Shad, to me seems to be the best SO far. I figured I would ask before buying...

Just curious, what did you have to do differently to dial in? I haven't taken mine out fishing yet.

With the rain today, I decided to take a road trip and check out Canoe Creek and Raystown Lake. WOW!!!,Canoe is about 8-10 feet low! I just had to see it. There was to be a TMO tournament there April 6. I don't think that will happen unless we all bank fish. As for Raystown, It really looked good and green, no ice. We stopped at Weavers Falls, James Creek, and Aitch. There were 2 boats at Weavers and 0 at the others. I forgot the thermometer so i didn' get the temps.
