man ur dumb. Ur talking about one of the best 5 quaterbacks to ever play the game. He did help the jets...just not down the stretch. Plus he has the best running back in the nfl which will take alot of the pressure off. Either way Brett Farve is the MAN Just because someone is one of the greatest of all time, does not mean they are great NOW. Joe Montana's last couple seasons weren't exactly great, neither were Dan Marino's. In the last four years, how many times has Favre had more TD's than interceptions? I hope he has a great year, but lets not forget that he does have a torn rotator cuff. I wouldn't be surprised to see him light it up, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him falter later in the season as that arm starts wearing down.

I just hope everyone else can stay healthy. Getting Favrah is great and all, but if Adrian goes down, the Williams' get suspended, Allen's foot injury is bad, etc... It ain't gonna matter much. I think Childress knew that he had to make something happen this year or he was gone. That wasn't going to happen with Sage or Tarvaris, so he made what he thought was the best move and that was to get Favrah.

I don't know that you can say the Vikings are a surprise team. Their only real personnel loss was Birk and Sharper. They get back EJ Henderson and Farwell (ST stud). The QB situation is no worse than last year and when they won the division and went 10-6. If they don't make a decent playoff run this year, then bye bye Chilly. The defense should be a blast to watch. NFC East should be a tossup again this year, and I think Atlanta takes the next step and wins the South. I don't think Arizona repeats as the West champs, maybe San Fran moves up?
