Chickahominy Lake is smokin'!

I fished Chick Lake a couple of times this fall and have done well.  I went out this evening for a few hours and had a bash.  I got a late start.  Put out at Ed Allens at 2:00 OM and fished til 6:00 PM.  Caught 10.  All were well over a pound, and most were over 2lbs.  2 or 3 were about 3 lbs.  A one went over 6lbs.  Had many, many more blow-ups on frogs.  Even caught a friggin' yellow perch on a Rage Tail Space Monkey in the grass.

Air temp was in the 60s and overcast, but no rain.  Water temp was 69.5.  Vast amounts of grass.

Great.

Maybe we can hit the lake in November.

I have a tournametn on Chesdin on October 17 and then the B.A.S.S. 20-Man Team Tournament on Buggs on the 24 and 25.

Later,
