Gettin cooler in Texas

Featured Replies

Was a bit chilly this morning but it got up to about 70 with partly cloudy skies in east Texas today.  I'm glad I got to get out and catch some fish.

The big one weighed 4 pounds 6 ounces.  I caught her on a green pumpkin candy lobster on a green pumpkin hack attack jig.  The rest of the fish were around a pound or under today, about 15 total.  I caught a few on a baby craw on a bitsy flip jig, some on the eeliminator, and a few on a ragetail toad.  The last hour before it got dark, I caught a few on a black buzzbait.

Had to take the pictures myself.  I tried using the timer on the camera and setting it on the trolling motor mount.  It turned out very bright.  :D

Nice job.  As you said at least you were not out a couple of days ago.  It really did get quite chilly.
