Hello,

I know it is supposed to be one of the coldest days of the year here in Georgia, but I just need to go fishing. I plan on going to a decent size pond (200 yards x 100 yards?) and it is pretty shallow (about ten feet at the deepest, but where I plan on fishing a little shallower). There is a mild amount of cover but since I am going on foot I won't be able to access a lot of it. I plan on pitching some senkos real slow in the morning and maybe, maybe a smaller topwater and some spinners later, but I don't really know yet as it depends on what i'm feeling. What else should I toss and how should I fish with a cold front? Thanks for the help.

Just got back from a pond here in Douglasville this AM. No fishing it's frozen.LOL. I am guessing yours is the same.

I would throw a 3/8 oz. Evo jig. I like 3/8 oz. for a slower fall. Then match that jig up with a Rage Tail lobster trailer.

haha yea randall its pretty cold down here. hope the pond is not frozen.
