Trip to my home lake

Featured Replies

I took a week off work and just fished, sun up to sundown. I live in NC and water temps were 42-45. The firsts couple days were tough I was fishing slow thinking the fish needed to be force feed. The 3rd day I decided to go against a lot I hear or read and catch fish. I used shallow running lil johns at a good speed. And also developed some jerkbait skills. From that day on I caught over 100 bass (including some big ones for my lake) in the following days including my home lake PB 7.4 :D. Nice to have a week to explore and expand my fishing knowledge. :)

Here are some pics of some of the fun I had!
