florida bassin

Featured Replies

Back in Florida, me and my buddy did some fishing this past week at our private lake. Caught some nice fish, with around 20 bass over 5lbs. Here are some in the 6-8lb range. Still waiting for a double digit but cold fronts have been frustrating. 3 fish came on a strike king spinner baits, and 2 on SK crankbaits.

Must be central to south Florida.... up here the beds are empty and the only fish found feeding was 2-3 ft carp

Looks like a great time! keep us posted with more pictures as they come along!

This is Treasure Coast, FL and thank goodness for the fishing, or I'd be going crazy here. Big fish were moving up before the last cold front came in. We can't sight fish here as the water clarity about 12-18 inches unfortunately. High water levels is making it impossible to reach fish in dense cover where a lot will be spawning. Gonna have to get them on route. We are just positioning ourselves on the pattern where we know these fish need to move to spawn and we've had success. I'll post more pics as they come.

Very nice my friend.  Those are some good looking bass.

Nice toads dude, way to go. :) Thanks for posting.

A lot of fish on beds around here. These fronts keep knocking them back and I think a lot of just had before they burst LOL.Most are in very heavy cover, more so then I seen last year.I've busted a lot of bucks but no big piggies yet.Again water clarity is an issue. I need no wind and a good sun to find em. Any larger fish that we've been catching have been in transition zones early AM.

I wish I would have had that kind of success during my trip! Good job man!
