Bad fishing day

Featured Replies

Well I went to Lake Tarpon on Sunday, and first cast with a rod that I let a buddy use a week before has a knot in it and my ratt-l-trap breaks off, then my boat starts acting up, so the first couple of hours consist of little fishing  >:(, then around lunch time im headed to pick my wife up for her first time on the boat in a year, she is 7 months pregnant and it was the first time the weather has been good enough to take her out and what do you know.....I blow my motor :'(. On the bright side my father in law caught his first bass in 2 years

wow thats a really tough day..but at least someone caught fish..i once had a motor blow on me with my wife and 3 month old in the boat, temps close to 100, baby crying, wife getting madder by the minute when out of the bluse comes this guy and his wife and he offers to ride me miles back to the marina, pick up my truck and then pull my boat to the nearest landing a good 5 miles away..those folks saved us big time..
