  1. the water we were fishing was about 51 degrees because of the hot water discharge in that area...the rest of the lake was 41 to 43 degrees
  2. got out yesterday with a friend and we found loads of bass on laydowns in shallow water. After he got bit a couple of times on the shakey head we just moved from tree to tree catching fish off almost every tree, but the bigger fish were caught on the real old ones that were nearly falling apart. We ended up with over 25 fish in 3 hours and almost all were 2+ with a couple of 3's.A great way to end 2010 fishing year and a super fun day...good fishing and Happy New Year to all...Bob
  3. ]]Nice fish there and great job catching it..i bet that was a nice thump..
  4. Hey i also fish a power plant lake here in NC and find it to be awesome all winter. Theres a warm water discharge thats called the hothole where all kinds of fish are found but i usually catch more bass down from the warmest water to the 50 degree range. I'd be curious to know if you noticed water temps where you were catching fish?...Thanks Bob
