Featured Replies

had pretty good results trying out some monsoor jigs with rage craw trailers. caught 7-8 at my local golf course pond. not bad for second day out this year! all about the same size as pic, maybe bigger. ;)

Sounds like a great day my friend....

WTG....and on your 1st day with it  That's one of the great things about swim jigs, cover water and/or drop it in an obvious hot spot  ;)

they work very well! the rage craw was the icing on the cake. no bigguns yet though.

I've always heard of people using grubs for trailers. have you tried both?

honestly i havnt yet. i didnt have many options as far as trailers go, a few green pumpkin zoom chunks and black/blue rage tail craws, which were the only matching color i had for the jig. im going to try out some rage eliminators next time out, they look VERY promising!

Think of a swim jig as a spinnerbait w/o the blades. It shows them something diff.

Great day, with more to follow I'm sure.

it really is suprisingly easy to fish. just found a couple packs of 4" tiki swim shads i didnt know i had, should work great on these jigs.
