I went to a pond that i am normally able to get a few out of but a storm was rolling in and i packed up as the sky looked like lighting was near. As i drove home the sky looked less threatening and i thought what the heck! I have never caught anything at this pond which was choked with lilly pads. Had a few blow ups on frogs but never hooked them. I put a baby bass super fluke on and swam it on the surface around the lilly's and out of no where i got a blow up and it was just a dink 1 pounder and a few casts later the rain started and i made my last cast and FISH ON! huge blow up it was y guess a nice 3 pounder. i will be trying the super fluke on the surface more often.
