Sebile Magic Swimmer

Featured Replies

I rarely fish lakes with Herring anymore, but I want to try the Sebile Magic Swimmer anyway.  The only times I've seen them on TV they appeared to be used post spawn.  Is there any point in fishing these things in winter or pre spawn?

I think the only reason you saw them used during post spawn is because the pros didn't start buying them untill the Clarks Hill tournament that was in post spawn. I think they will be great prespawn search baits as well.

Thanks for the replies.  Excellent review mrbassky.

A couple of weeks after Santa visits the kids the lure monkey will be visiting daddy!

I fished the 125 Sebiles quite a bit this Summer and found them to be an excelent bait to work weed line edges with.  There is so much you can do with the bait from top to bottom.  One thing I found was you cannot crank a Sebile too fast.  They track and run great no matter what the speed.  In fact, found I did much better with these baits cranking them at a quicker pace then a normal swimbait.
