some of my best fishing days

Featured Replies

It seems like the more I do this the better it gets. Every sunday after work I have a couple of hours before I have to go back and feed the elephants again, so I go fish. I was fishing this section of creek for about the 3rd time and caught a LM that was the biggest fish I have caught in that creek.

So as I am casting around I notice a bunch of movement in the water and it is headed my direction, and I'm getting excited. Well it turns out it was a family of 5 otters and they swam within 5 feet of me, totally awesome. So a little later the water starts moving and heading towards me and its abeaver this time that passes within 2 feet of me.

I think it can't get any better and the next day I go out on my buddys boat and we see 2 juvenile osprey hanging out on a log by the shore. Not to mention I caught 3 LM on a senko that each weighed around 3 1/2 pounds.

To wrap up the awesomeness my wife(whose pregnant) keeps insisting we go fish the river so we do at least once a week.

You are living the good life and smart enough to appreciate it.

That's excellent and sounds like you have your priorities right...not to mention a terrific wife

THAT'S why we go fishin'.

If you have to try and explain it to someone, they don't understand.

But that is OK, because late in life,it will be scences like those days that will be etched in your memory.  Good for the soul.

Maybe it is just a saying and I am way off, but the coolest part of this post is feeding elephants...in Tennessee. :D
