Small progress

Featured Replies

OK, I made a little progress tonight. I went out to a small pond at 5pm and fished for an hour. I used watermelon/blk/red Senko and got 2 quality hits. Did not catch anything but at least I got a hit. The pond has a filter of some sort and the fish were all around it. You could see them jumping around it so after awhile I switched to a top water lure. No luck. Did I do the right thing or should I have stayed with the Senko. My reasoning for switching was that I figured if they were up top that that is were I should make my presentation. Not sure I made the right choice. I totally suck at this :(

I just found out that someone has the name bassackwards already so I have changed name. Sorry for stepping on any toes.

If they were hitting the Senko, I probably would have stayed with that. That too is my biggest problem, switching baits when I don't need to. If they weren't eating it, try switching colors, size, presentation of the Senko.
