I just ordered the new Kevin Vandam KVD Sexy Shad Kit for a buddy of mine.  It comes with about a dozen crankbaits, 2 spinnerbaits and 2 jigs all in the sexy shad color.  It was $50, kinda pricey but hey hes my fishing buddy so what the heck, it feels good to give.  ;D   Has anyone used it or seen it?  What are your thoughts? thanks guys

I've seen it, my first thought was I could buy all those baits and box seperately and save $10.

I looked at it at BPS yesterday. A little pricey in my view. Split it up and you can save money, plus there were several items that I would probably never fish.

I believe the price has been reduced down to $45.

I saw this kit at BPS.

I put the kit back down.

I like the kit but I think I could save money if I buy the baits individually and I may look into doing that after the holidays.

I have seen several people say they feel they can buy eveything in the Sexy Shad kit for less. I did the math and it does save at the retail price of $59.99, but saves even more as it is on sale at BPS for $49.94.

3...Redeye shads @$5.49 each..............................................$16.47

5...1 each of the Sexy shad Series 1-3-4-5-6 @$4.29 each.......$21.45

This totals out to be $91.62 and BPS says in the ad it is a $83 value? Did I miss something here?

I tried this color lure last Fall and did very well with it in the King Shad and the Tour model Series 5.

Too wierd - My fishin buddy just bought me this kit (knowing i like KVD) And its AWSOME there are a few in there i probably wont use (Other than to hang from my rear view mirror) .

I too did the math and came up with 85$ at my bass pro ... So they were close on the saving point,
