Is the bite slow getting started this year or is it just me? I live in central Ar. and by this time last year the bite was strong . It seems this year they just don't want to get started. Anyone else haveing this problem?

In the n.e. we've had too much rain and the added amount of depth has made finding fish tougher. The prespawn bass are still holding in deep water and we've only caught a few on small baits. Next few weeks of rising water temp, weed growth and dropping water levels should produce a dramatic change.

Spring fishing can turn on a dime and being there almost daily will insure some fast and furious fishing.
