well any one tell me what are some good lures and the brand they are so i can buy them at the store

name the lure and then give me the brand i want to go largemouth bass fishing :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o

Well, if I were you I would just go and get some basics.....Some Rapala shap raps and husky jerks or rattlinrogues.  I would also get some spinnerbaits....get a few different ones with different blades and colors.  I would also invest in some soft plastics.  7" worms (Zoom, YUM, Powerbait) and some senko style baits and some Sluggo's.  You'll need some good hooks to go with these.  Owner hooks seem to do the trick for me.  This will provide a good foundation for getting started.  What kind of water will you be fishing?

Since you are just getting started here is a great link that has a lot of good info:

What you are asking about lures and brands is a mighty wide topic-take a look at that site and it can help point you in the right direction.

REB gave you some good info, this site has everything.

this site has everything.

yes it does, again, thank you glen.  I'd be frustrated, lost, and would break my poles without this site.   ;)

no offense, NoLuckfishing, but one way I believe to improve your fishing might be to change your handle.  a handle like noluckfishing has no confidence about it.  One thing you will or have  read all through these forums is that confidence is a key factor to success.  I don't know why I am bringing this up other than every time I sse your handle this thought goes through my mind and I couldn't resist any longer...  Please don't take offense to this.  It is meant to help! :) :)

no offense taken.  I think ur exactly right!

I'll change it to.... bassackwards.  lmao

actually, until I think of a new handle, I'ma change it to that.

Well, I think that is a little better.... I think....... ;D ???
