Daytime cruisers! What to use?

Some fish are starting to spawn here in the mid atlantic. During the day you can see the big ones just cruising around. What would you throw to entice them? They don't seem to be intersted in anything but cruising around!? Spinnerbaits are ignored. Is to early in the season for topwaters or frogs? I've never used those much during the mid day though. Suggestions appreciated. ;)

Live bait  :o

Seriously though....if your water is in the 60's,by all means, throw a buzzbait.Just be sure to back away from them a good distance. If nothing else,a buzzbait will "turn on" fish lots of times. If they dont hit it,it may get them in a feeding mood.

Or skip a fluke in their area and move it as fast as you can....they dont like things trying to get away from them.

Just throw a plastic about ten feet in front of it. Let it sit and they'll usually pick it up. Senkos and tubes work great for this. I'm not the best at this style of fishing but can still catch them. Also are they sticking to a curtain area. If they are then they're there to protect something or spawn.

Cruisers are one of my favorite fish to catch. I do it two different ways. Use something that makes very little splash. Toss it out in front of them and jerk it a couple of times, makeing sure they can see it. You can also use something like a jerk bait or even a rattle trap. Cast out in front of them and pull it past them fairly fast causing a reaction strike. Stay low in the boat and try not to let them see you and you should bring in a few.

I just went fishing last weekend and caught about 20 spawned bass. I used black w/ blue flake fat ikas and yellow w/ silver/gold flake tubes. I was tearin 'em up.

look for the beds, and set that bait in their bed, u'll feel a pop, maybe a line move, and know u can set the hook.

cruisin bass, or site fishin, is great fun! there's more concentration and tactic that goes into it. I love it.

what everyones said might help. try to make the bait look like its tryin to get away, if they're not interested. throw the bait ON TOP OF their HEAD, for a reaction strike! I was readin an article and they said dont cast past them, THROW IT ON THEM. lol go for it, see if it works.

and I use 4/0 Gamasuko (sp?) offset worm EWG, or g-lock hooks
