Fishing in mossey areas

Featured Replies

Ok I found a mossey spot in under the water to day but its in shallow water. There's a current start below it. How would i fish the spot? And what lure to use for that spot. One more thing There is weeds at the  bank side and i see something coming up to the water making little wave what does the mean.

Any help would be great.

Any lake that has moss can be a pain to fish. I like to use jerkbaits, topwater (spook or buzzbaits), rattletraps, or a grassrat. I might try a spinnerbait also.

The Moss is not on top of the water. It's on the rocks under the water. But there is current below it so how would you fish it? and what lure to use?

SPINNERBAIT, CRANKBAIT, OR A SOFT JERKBAIT. THAT IS IF THE WATER IS CLEAR TO MODERATLY STAINED. KEEP THE BAIT JUST ABOVE THAT NASTY MOSS. HOPE THIS HELPS.
