The lakes should be pretty weeded over by now. What's your favorite techniqe for this condition?  I like swimming a worm a lightly weighted worm accross the top then letting it sink down into the breaks.

either a lizard dragged acroos the matts or a 1 1/4 oz.booyah jig through the matts. ;D

pitching tubes around the gaps in weeds, or pitching a weightless Zoom Fluke

pitch 1/2 oz blue and black jig with zoom trailer.

If it's laying over on top of the water then I like a frog.  If its just thick and not laying over on top, then I would opt for a weightless plastic or a jig.

1)  Dragging a slop bait over the grass

2) Dragging a weightless plastic over the grass

3) Punching through the grass with a small plastic baits heavuly weighted on heavy tackle

I'll tell ya, I'm getting pretty handy with that fat ika, great for getting under matts when rigged skirt up so it falls away from you.
