Whats the diff. in LC RC & LC flat minis?

Featured Replies

I've been loking at the LC RC series .5 & 1.5, many here chose them as their best LC bait, at tackle warehouse there is 7 diff. colors for the LC rc seies. But at northen bass supply there is 50 differant colors for the LC flat mini dr. I think both have rattles in them. Whats the differances between these two LC baits?  :-/

The RCs have a bigger profile and a wider wiggle than the Flat Mini series. The Flat Minis have rattles and come in more colors. They also have different diving depths.

If I remember correctly, none of my RC 1.5's have rattles.

Most of the RC don't have rattles. They have come out with the one knocker series. The flat minis do have rattles like jake aid. Also the flat minis ahve falt sides as opposed to the round sides of the RC's. That translates into a tight wiggle for the flats and a wide wobble for the RCs.

Thanks guys, I may have to try a couple of each  ;D

The RC 2.5DD I got from BPS has rattles in it.

The flat mini's at northern bass supply comes in 50 differant colors, a big selection.  ;)

While the LC RC's at tackle warehouse only come in 7 differant colors.

I'm going to need a really huge tacklebox before long. :o

The original & still available RC cranks did not have rattles, they later added the deep diver series and made both baits available with and without rattles. Last season they came out with a wake version and this year they added a 1 knocker. The wake bait they came out with last season proved to a very effective bait for me. The original non rattling version is in my opinion a 5 star bait.

I had both lures out tonight. The Mini DR is more flat whereas the RC is slightly shorter and fatter. The RC also comes with rattles. I love them both.
