Recomendations for flat sided Balsa Cranks

Featured Replies

I was thinking about picking up a few this winter, one that looked good and was reasonably priced were the D baits, any opinions on this one or others that you've tried. Thanks.

The D-Baits are a good design - they catch fish for sure. I've gotten some baits from him though that were really soft, though.

Some others you may consider:

Big M: M-Flat

Flat-Shad: Sonny B (one of the best flatsided cover baits in life) or Classic PT (great cold water bait)

JawJacker: Petey-style bait.

Zoom WEC: Hicky and Mutt

Bagley: G-Force B-Flat or the old school B-Flat (eBay)

O.S.P.: HPF Spec 2 (okay, it's not balsa, but it doesn't mind)

Zoom Mutt and Z-Flat. I also like the Sweet P as a finesse crank.

Rapala DT Flat

I hope their bass baits are not like what they call Muskie baits, because GSI makes some pretty disappointing Muskie Baits
