Bass Pro Shop has recently announded they are opening a store in Manteca.  (good) ;D

Should be open in Fall of '07 (bad) :

As a former californian I can feel your joy.

Hopefully it won't be too close to you.

There is a direct correlation between how much money you have in your pocket and how close they are to you! ;D

1/2 hour drive for me = empty pockets!

Hopefully, Delta Bait, er, Fishermans Warehouse won't be put out of business with the arrival of Bass Pro Shops.  And now we (Californians) will have to pay sales tax when we order from the Bass Pro Catalog.  Oh well  

man, they're opening up everywhere!!

We've got one in Broken Arrow Ok that's suppose to open in October this year.

Can't wait, I'll probably have to get a second job just to pay my BPS bill.
