Would these docks work

Featured Replies

the resivour I fish is about 13 or so feet deep. The wood is about 3 feet about the water level and they are in about 5 feet of water. Around the docks thier are fallen trees, brush, and floating vegetation. the area looks like it would be prety productive but I cant seem to figure them out. Am I gettin to close with my boat and scaring them away or what? What should I use when and how.

;DThanks for the input

Toss a jig or worm along the docks working the whole dock until you can locate the fish which might mean that the fish are sitting on the outermost right hand side of the dock. If you can skip the jig up under the docks where alot of anglers overlook or can't get to. Just another tip pay extra attention to the shaded side.

try fishing a spinnerbait and knock it into the pillers of the dock and try fishing the downed trees if the dock dosen't produce

i would approach it with a chrome colored rattle trap ripped under the corners and along the sides

I would throw a jig or tube around the pilings. Also run a spinnerbait around the dock and some of the brush.

One of the best techniques for fishing docks is skipping. Rig a tube or weightless trick worm and skip it way up under the dock. After you get skilled at this you can then try skipping jigs beneath docks.

Hope this helps.

If I were you (and I wish I had the opportunity!) I would be skipping pumkin Gitzits under those docks.
