Shimano Rod Warranty
I bought a Shimano Compre from bass pro in Toronto last December. Yesterday it broke while i was smallie fishing. Bass Pro won't do the over the counter return like i hear they will in the states and i am only able to find a local California number on Shimano's website. Does anyone know how i can contact them as i can't pay long distance to call California. Thank You

Your Baitcaster Settings
Lately i have been spending alot of time practicing my casting accuracy, because bass season doesn't open till the end of june. I have been trying different settings on my baitcasters to see how it effects my casting. So i was wondering how some of you like to have your baitcasters set for different casts pitching, overhand, underhand ect. or how if you have them all set the same.

Humminbird PiranhaMax 220 Bottom View
Last year i got a Humminbird PiranhaMax 220 and i never really got to use it much. This year i want to learn to use it and i am wondering about one of the settings. Under the set-up menu there is four options for how it displays the bottom on the display. So if anyone could help me with what the best view would be, it be greatly appreciated. The 4 views are: Structure ID-represents weak returns as light pixels and strong signals as dark pixels. This has the benefit of ensuring that strong returns will be clearly visible on the display. Black-displays all pikels below the bottom contour as black, regardless of signal strength. This has the benefit of providing a high contrast between the bottom and other sonar returns on the display. WhiteLine-highlights the strongest sonar returns in white resulting in a distinctive outline. This has the benefit of clearly defining the bottom on the display. Inverse-is a method where weak returns are shown with dark pixels and strong returns with lighter pixels. This has the benefit of ensuring that weak signals will be clearly visible on the display.

What they fail to tell you about cranking
I think that without a doubt that Chris knows what he is talking about when it comes to crankbaits. If you take a look at the forums "best of" every post on cranks in there is from him. http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?virboard=gen_bass;num=1253486034

Cavitron Trailer
I would definitely put a trailer hook on. Most of the time the bass will get main hook but the one time it dosen't you'll wish you had a trailer hook. I have caught lots of fish on just the trailer hook.

The 50 Greatest Lures of All Time
The article never said bass, i don't even think they said freshwater. I've seen alot of people fishing the storm thing for walleye maybe thats why its where it is.

trailers
On jigs i usually use a zoom super chunk, a zoom big salty chunk or a strike king 3x chunk. I've never used trailers for spinnerbaits.

Ribbon Tail Worms - What is your favorite?
Berkley power worms 7" & 10" Tequila sunrise, black chart, watermelon/Prp/Red/Flk/ and motor oil

Really good spinnerbaits?
I have been using strike kings KVD spinner bait for awhile now it is definitely my favorite. I Fish some booyahs too. I have a few T-1s but I don't like them the paint chipped easily and I don't like that I can't bend them to adjust to the retrieve I am looking for.

Bass boat question
I always see Scott Martin pitching them on his show. It looks like it'd be nice if your bed fishing in the spring.

Slowest buzzbait
The slowest i have used is the terminators Skeet double buzz. Its got 2 huge props.

Catch and release, being overdone??????
I really don't see how it could serious affect natural lakes, because the bass did fine before people started fishing.

Berkley Power Worm sale at BPS
I think you guys are to late the original is from over a week ago.
-
BPS, they said it would ship this year...I think
I have never had any problems with delivery time, I live in Canada and get it between 8-10 days. And I usually order on a the weekend. According to their site it should take 10-14 business days. So mine always arrives early.

Something that seriously made me wonder....
I doubt there would be a problem the FLW takes the fish to wal-mart to weight in, unless they have a permit or somthing.
-
Where are they all hiding?!?!
I am no help but I know no one has ever caught a 16 pound bass from that lake.
-
I am now a SENKO believer!
As far as I can tell your the only one that is starting anything he just suggested trying senko type baits just like you told him to give the originals a try.

The birth of Trilene Flouro
Why not have two different flouros in the line they have multiple types of mono. Its like XL and XT vanish is for light line techniques and the new one is stronger for spinner baiting flipping and pitching ect. I definitely will give it a try.

If you could only use 1 lure ever again

How much stress is too much?
I agree with them not a chance that would screw up the gears in a curado. And curados have a max drag between 10 and 15lbs so even tightened drag and heavy line it would do no damage.
-
Using a trailor hook
I always use a trailer hook when fishing a buzzbait but i dont fish a trailer hook on a spinnerbait when i am getting hung up to often.
-
Ever done this with a spinner bait?
I have had lots of bass hit the blades but it is mostly because i fish alot of muddy water.

I hate how rods are displayed above eye level!
I agree with Reelmech they are probably up to protect them and it saves alot of space.
