In response to jarednk about a certain member that posts on several boards, I did some research and came up with this link. It is the same link basspro posted in the vendetta rods thread. Take what you want, but it doesn't look good. Many have probably bought from this guy. Now what?

i don't see how this works because why would anybody just sell him a $600 tv for $64, and how come when they rung it up why didn't it come up on the register as a DVD player?

check out the UPC. It said SAMSUNG 1080i. DVD. A busy cashier might not see the last three letters and think it's a hi-def Samsung tv...it's not like they pay people at WalMart enough to care.

Well like walmart would give it to him probably just to not have someone complain and call coporate or w/e and stuff like that. BUT if he did this regularly, 19000 worth of stuff, how would they not recognize him when he came in and realize he was doing it over and over? Especially cabelas.

yeah i figured this was what was going on. but still, a hi def TV for 64 bucks? surely that had to raise SOME kind of flag in those listless employees' minds...

It was deleted, it has since been replaced.

In that case I would say that it was removed until Glenn could verify.

Yeah, that's what I figured.

Or the people behind him in line. If I happened to see the guy in front of me buying a Hi-Def TV for $64, you better bet I'm turning around, and going to try and find one.

Yes, I had to verify whether or not this was about The_Natural. I've since validated it, and subsequently banned him. I've also removed all his threads in the Flea Market and archived them for safekeeping.

I expect to get a call from the authorities any time now, asking for evidence.

wow i didn't realize it was the_natural! i thought he was a pretty straight guy... :-/

Big Dave, he is the "Unnatural."  ;D

I'm shocked............Speechless......

I think its virtually impossible to determine whether the goods he sold here were stolen or not.

And if any one has made any purchases from the ex member I certinally dont think they'd come out and say it.  I did make an attempt to contact him for something he had listed but like I mentioned in other post, it explains why he never got back to me.

WOW.  Unbelievable.  The_Natural has given me tons of advice and has really helped me over the years.  Just blows my mind that this was going on.

Hope everything works out

Well said. If the guy is guilty there is no justification for what he has done. With that said, I will pray for him.  We've all done things we would not like to see on the news. We are all capable of unspeakable things. It is the nature of man.

Wow!!  I can't say I am shocked by his actions, but am shocked by the size of it.

I can only speak from my personal experience, but the only deal I had with him here a few years ago was very shady and I got an uneasy feeling.  It was a small dollar item, but it took upwards of 2 months for me to finally get all my items.  The personal feeling I got was he was selling items he did not have.  I can't remember who, but another member bought an semi "exotic" reel from him about the same time I bought my items.  We kept in touch and we were having the same experience with him.  I remember he was about to go as far as driving a couple hours to go physically pick up his items.

It's amazing how many times your gut instincts are correct.

Just crazy.

I could never tell if he was sponsored or was up to something. He just always had so much stuff that was new and so cheap.
