I'm trying figure out why they gave it to him. If you are dumb enough to give it to him at that price, you deserve to be screw over instead of arresting him. imo.

K-mart clearance stickers are different from Wal-Mart, if the original price suppose to be 20.00 and someone puts a clearance sticker of 5.00 on it, it would require a manager to override the price at the check-out line. I've had to turn down customers because that item was not suppose to be on clearance.  :-X They wasn't happy with me, but at least I didn't cost my company money.

If you are dumb enough let him get away with that then........errr...  No comment.  For once, K-mart finally got Wal-Mart beat in couple things. 1)Layway. 2) How our clearance system works.

Even if you pay for part of a product and not the whole thing you are stealing. That's not including the fact it's totally illegal to switch price tags. You can't argue that.
