  3. yea the one lake that poured into new orleans had just been opened for swimming 3 years ago after a 30 years of too much pollution and the fish population was just starting to come back and now they are pumping that toxic water back in to the lake
  4. in summer you can just use a fishfinder and on the screen ther will most likely be no fish under the Thermocline becasue of crapy water
  5. hey i recently saw a tip on a fishing show that said putting garlic and salt in a container and dipping lures in before you use them can increase your catch have any of you done this or somthing similar and if so dose it work?

  15. i have caught lots of weird thing like turltles, frogs and i once i got a bowfin but me craziest catch would be a seagull i was fishing on a pier in lake erie and when anybody catches a gobie they need to be killed so they are thrown to the gulls but any way i was fishing a lipless crank and got a hit and when i set the hook i missed the fish and it flew up out of the water and just about hit me it landed a couple feet from the seagulls and before i could do anything one grabbed it and hooked it self so i just slashed the line and watched the seagull fly away with my crank
  16. the plomar knot is 100% just practise tying it and make sure you get some line with goo knot strength just in case
  17. worms are my weakness i have never got a fish on them at all but since i keep hearing worms are great baits i am going to keep trying them till i get some fish

  20. i think it is best just to use smaller lures and if that dosen't work use a lure that you have became good at fishing with
  21. for bass you really dont need a net you can just lift them up or if there bigger you can grab them by the lip
