I know there have been several threads in the past month or two about LC pointers regarding their price and performance. I was looking at the Jannsnetcraft website and I saw that they have painted jerkbait bodies, which the call "springers", in sizes 78 and 100 (like pointers) for $3.55. They appear to have the exact same body dimensions as pointers and they come in the same or very similar paint schemes such as ghost minnow, american shad, and ghost shad (similar to chart. shad). The only catch is that they come without hooks, but even then they're still significantly cheaper than lc pointers. I'm considering ordering a few just to check 'em out but I don't plan on switching from my trusty pointers any time soon  . I'm sure they're not at the same quality level as pointers but you never know. I thought I would let you guys know in case anyone was looking for a cheaper alternative to pointers with similar paint schemes. Has anyone fished with them already by any chance?
